Ms. Hoff and the GOLDCOAST medspa, Ltd. nursing staff operate under the medical direction of Dr. Erika Ugianskis.

Julie Hoff, RN, is the owner and clinical director of GOLDCOAST medspa, Ltd. Ms. Hoff has extensive clinical experience with laser-based procedures; advanced skin care regimens; Botox® and dermal fillers, and permanent cosmetics. In the ten years since she found GoldCoast medspa, Ms. Hoff has performed thousands laser hair removal procedures and light-based skin treatments for satisfied clients.
On going medical education is critical in this technology-driven field, and Ms. Hoff, a designated trainer for select laser companies, regularly participates in advanced training provided by laser manufacturers, medical associations, and physicians groups. She has attended the following courses:

Prior to owning her own business, Ms. Hoff practiced intensive care nursing, which involved the daily use of high-technology, life-saving procedures in the care of acutely ill patients.
Medical Director: Dr. Erika Ugianskis
Dr. Erika Ugianskis is a board certified Interventional Radiologist (IR), who uses the latest minimally invasive procedures, that were once only dreamed of, to heal patients with a variety medical conditions, including varicose veins, Juvederm, uterine fibroids, spinal fractures, and many cancers. She is a pioneer in advancing minimally invasive modern medicine, applying her skills as an IR to the field of cosmetic medicine. The advantages of IR procedures include shorter recovery times, greater patient safety, lower risk of complications, and quite often a great reduction in pain and discomfort. Trusted by doctors of many specialties, Dr. Ugianskis has served at some of the top hospitals in Illinois and Indiana.
Dr. Ugianskis’ approach to vein and skin treatments comes from her love of healing and of being a successful patient of some of the treatments she offers. As a woman and mother, she knows first-hand the importance of good health and positive self image and how her skills as a physician can improve both of these for her patients.
Dr. Ugianskis is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, the American Medical Association, and the Radiological Society of North America.
Dr. Erika Ugianskis first graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles with both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Kinesiology. She then earned her medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School, Chicago; and served her internship in internal medicine at Evanston Hospital of Northwestern University, Evanston. She then completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Northwestern University Medical School, Chicago; and pursued her Interventional Radiology Fellowship at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center, Chicago.
