Before Laser Hair Removal

2. Shave the area to be treated prior to your appointment
3. Avoid sunburns, tanning, tanning lotions, spray tans
4. A physical, manual, gentle exfoliation of the skin 24-48 hours prior to treatment is recommended
5. Avoid photosensitizing activities, topicals and blood thinning medications prior to treatment
After Care
1. Avoid direct sunlight exposure
2. Use a broad-spectrum SPF30 sunscreen indoors and outdoors during daylight hours on the treated area; reapplying every 2 hours
3. Application of topical witch hazel toner to calm down any inflammation
4. Avoid activity and topicals that are photo sensitizing for 1 week post treatment
5. Avoid hot saunas, chlorine and excessive sweating 48 hours after treatment
6. Use a visor or any physical barrier (umbrella) to protect your skin from UV rays in combination with SPF for added protection if needed
6. Continue to shave any hair regrowth
7. Discontinue all waxing and tweezing until your entire treatment sessions have completed
